🇸🇦 The first week of the 2020 Dakar Rally proved a tough one for the Monster Energy Yamaha Rally Team, with Adrien van Beveren forced to retire on Stage 3 after crashing and breaking his collarbone. Xavier de Soultrait also retired the following day, again due to an injury sustained on Stage 3. Franco Caimi and Jamie McCanney battle on however, with Caimi breaking into the top ten overall prior to the rest day.

Camelia Liparoti and Annett Fischer, the only all-female crew in the SSV class, continued to race strongly in their distinctive blue and pink Yamaha YXZ1000R and headed into the rest day in P33… #YamahaRacing | #WR450FRally | #Dakar2020
