French Antoine Albert secures victory in European Freestyle Pro Tour Tow-In Contest at the Engadinwind 2020

Today was day three and the final day of the freestyle competitions at the Engadinwind 2020: After two exciting days filled with tow-in action of the qualification rounds, it was time for the final Tow-In showdown today. Six riders have advanced into the final, making their best trick out of three total runs count. Yentel Caers from Belgium is the defending champion and Sarah Quita Offringa from Aruba (NED) is the first ever women to compete in an EFPT Tow-In final.

She is 17-time world champion and all-rounder in windsurfing, world champion in the wave, freestyle and slalom disciplines. Winner of the day is the 26 year-old windsurfer Antoine Albert from New Caledonia (FRA), he impressed the judges with Air Skopu trick and the highest score of the day – 8.5. The silver medal was won by one of the greatest young talents in windsurfing the German Lennart Neubauer, who is only 16 years old. With the Air Burner Air Funnel trick he claimed 8.44 points. Bronze medal won the vice world champion Amado Vriesvijk from Bonair (NED).
