JCR/Honda’s Trevor Stewart battled the best GP Off-Road racers on the West Coast to Win the famed Elsinore GP on his Honda CRF450RX!
The World Famous Elsinore GP is back to its 1960’s roots and the racers of the 100 mile Harvey Mushman started on Main Street, Lake Elsinore.
After a hard fought battle through the dust, rocks, silt and streets of the Elsinore GP, Trevor moved into first place with 40 min remaining. Trevor put his head down and held his JCR/Honda prepped CRF450RX wide open all the way to the checkered flag for a big win!!
Trevor complimented his JCR/Honda team, parents, supporters and Honda for giving him the ultimate weapon and opportunity to show what he is capable of.
“The team did a great job! Trevor was fast and although this was the longest race he had ever attempted he proved to everyone he was up to the challenge. Trevor has a very bright future. I am expecting to see big things from him in 2018. He has shown great improvements in his fitness, speed, race craft and maturity this year. Honda’s history runs deep with this race. In 1973, Honda named their first bike designed specifically for Off-Road the ‘CR250M Elsinore’, after the historic event.” — Johnny Campbell
