Summary – Car/Bike – Stage 13 (San Juan / Córdoba) – Dakar 2018

For its 40th edition, the 10th to be held in South America, the Dakar rally is revisiting the Pacific Ocean and the dunes of Peru, which drivers and riders will tackle after a few days sampling the delights of the capital, Lima. Competitors will then head through to Bolivia, for a welcome rest day in the festive atmosphere of La Paz. Argentinian aficionados top the podium when it comes to enthusiasm and good humour, and the most joyous of them will be waiting to acclaim the riders in Córdoba, host to the Dakar finish line for the first time.

Car: NASSER AL-ATTIYAH / MATTHIEU BAUMEL (TOYOTA GAZOO RACING SA) won the stage San Juan / Córdoba in front of LUCIO ALVAREZ / ROBERT HOWIE (OVERDRIVE TOYOTA) and GINIEL DE VILLIERS / DIRK VON ZITZEWITZ (TOYOTA GAZOO RACING SA). CARLOS SAINZ / LUCAS CRUZ (TEAM PEUGEOT TOTAL) is the leader in front of NASSER AL-ATTIYAH / MATTHIEU BAUMEL (TOYOTA GAZOO RACING SA) and GINIEL DE VILLIERS / DIRK VON ZITZEWITZ (TOYOTA GAZOO RACING SA)

Bike: TOBY PRICE (RED BULL KTM FACTORY TEAM) won the stage San Juan / Córdoba in front of KEVIN BENAVIDES (MONSTER ENERGY HONDA TEAM) and ANTOINE MEO (RED BULL KTM FACTORY TEAM). MATTHIAS WALKNER (RED BULL KTM FACTORY TEAM) is the leader in front of KEVIN BENAVIDES (MONSTER ENERGY HONDA TEAM) and TOBY PRICE (RED BULL KTM FACTORY TEAM)
