Snowboarding For All – Building Adaptive Prototypes at Burton Headquarters

Starting in our headquarters in Vermont two years ago, the Burton Adaptive Prototype Project has been a journey. Our Innovative Prototyping Engineer (aka mad scientist) Chris Doyle has been working with adaptive athletes and UVM Engineering students to develop gear that makes it easier for adaptive snowboarders to ride. It couldn’t have been done without technology from Microsoft Surface and mobility assistance from Toyota. See the project come to life in this video, first aired at the Burton U·S·Open.
