American can claim MTB honour with victory at Crankworx Whistler on Sunday.

Nicholi Rogatkin is on the verge of completing a unique MTB slopestyle feat during Red Bull Joyride at Crankworx Whistler on Sunday, August 20.

The daredevil American has already won two out of the three Crankworx events so far this season with imperious displays at Crankworx Rotorua in memory of McGazza and Crankworx Innsbruck.

If he triumphs in Canada, then the 21-year-old will catapult himself into slopestyle history as well as give himself a chance of topping the 2017 World Tour Championship.

The Boston native currently sits second behind Sweden’s Emil Johansson with fellow Americans Ryan Nyquist and Anthony Messere also in contention for this season’s crown.

Canadian legend Brandon Semenuk has won Crankworx Colorado, Crankworx Les 2 Alpes and Red Bull Joyride at Crankworx Whistler, however he did not do it in a single year.
