Jerez, Spielberg, Misano, Aragon and Valencia tracks will all double up.

The revised 2020 MotoGP calendar has been released with 13 races locked in around Europe from July until November starting with the Spanish GP at Jerez. Here is all you need to know:

– The Gran Premio Red Bull de España season opener on July 19 will be followed one week later at the same track with the Gran Premio Red Bull de Andalucía.

– Eleven more races will follow around Europe including back-to-back races on iconic tracks such as Spielberg, Misano, Aragon and Valencia until November 15.

– There could still be a maximum of 17 rounds taking place in 2020 with four races potentially outside of Europe between November 22 and December 13 as the Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas, Grano Premio Motul de la Republica Argentina, OR Thailand Grand Prix and Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix are all set to be confirmed before July 31.

– All dates, events and the eventual attendance of spectators are subject to the evolution of the pandemic and the approval of the corresponding Governments and authorities.

– Champion Marc Márquez said: “I am excited to see my team again and return to riding the Honda, but we must remember to follow the guides that are in place to stay safe. It will certainly be different, but once we are on track and the visor comes down the objective is the same, to try and win the championship. Unfortunately, we can’t race everywhere this season, but I hope all the fans will be cheering no matter where they are.”
