BELLS BEACH, Victoria/AUS (Wednesday, April 24, 2019) – The Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach, Stop No. 2 on the 2019 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT), will be off again today due to small surf, but with the expectation that the coming days will see a significant improvement in the conditions. There will be an ANZAC Day ceremony tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. and the call will be tomorrow at 7:40 a.m. for a possible start at 8:10 a.m. AEST.

“There are no waves on offer this morning so we will not be running any heats today,” said WSL Competition Director, Kieren Perrow. “The great news is we’ve got a really exciting three days coming up. We have a couple of swells building into Friday afternoon and significant size for Bells. We will have really great waves with a finish on Saturday in pumping surf. Tomorrow we will have an ANZAC Day ceremony at 8:00 a.m. and we are looking to get underway just after that. We’ve set the call time at 7:40 a.m. to confirm the start time. We are looking forward to a great couple of days.”
