DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 28, 2017) – Thursday nights are for American Flat Track! Don’t miss tonight’s Half-Mile doubleheader on NBCSN, starting with the Harley-Davidson Williams Grove Half-Mile presented by Appalachian Harley-Davidson at 10 p.m. ET, followed by the Lone Star Half-Mile presented by Indian Motorcycle at 11 p.m. ET.
As the clock winds down on the 2017 season, these two Half-Miles serve as a battleground with championship implications in both classes. In the AFT Twins presented by Vance & Hines class, Jared Mees looks to seal the deal on the championship early.
Clinching the crown at either venue would be sweet, but Mees is also looking to crush the competition with more wins in 2017 to tie Scotty Parker’s season record. However, there are a host of challengers looking to upset the Half-Mile specialist on his turf: rival Bryan Smith, Brad Baker, Briar Bauman, Sammy Halbert and Jeffrey Carver, Jr.
While the AFT Singles title chase is tighter with three riders in the hunt — Kolby Carlile, Brandon Price and Shayna Texter — the Williams Grove Half-Mile and Lone Star Half-Mile are about to shake that up. Tune in to watch the drama unfold in what has been an unforgettable season.
Tonight’s episodes marks 16 and 17 of 18 shows, part of the weekly coverage of American Flat Track on NBCSN — the Home of Motorsports — Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET.
