BOOK NOW & SAVE UP TO 20% ON KING’S LYNN MONSTER ENERGY SWC TICKETS
Fans could save up to 20 percent on King’s Lynn Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup tickets as Team Great Britain boss Alun Rossiter seeks another partisan home crowd to roar the Lions into the Final.
Supporters who book by April 30 could save up to 20 percent on standing tickets, with adults priced at £16 and OAPs and under-15s £11. Grandstand tickets cost £38 and a family standing ticket, admitting two adults and two under-15s, is £37.50.
The Brits tackle an Aussie team, likely to feature FIM Speedway Grand Prix stars Chris Holder, Troy Batchelor and Jason Doyle. They will also face a United States side, spearheaded by the legend that is reigning world champion Greg Hancock, with Latvia completing a stellar field.
Rossiter says the hoards of passionate British fans made all the difference as Team GB stunned Australia, the USA and Italy to reach the Monster Energy SWC Final last season, and he hopes they can create another magical atmosphere at the Adrian Flux Arena this summer.
He said: “Last year was a fantastic day and the supporters really got behind the team; they made the difference.
“If we’re honest, everybody thought Australia were going to just cruise through. But the British boys rose to the occasion. I’m convinced it was a lot to do with the fans.
“I can’t see why we couldn’t repeat our victory at King’s Lynn. With a partisan home crowd, we could all see last year what can be done.”
BSI Speedway managing director Paul Bellamy said: “The Brits produced a sterling performance last year, but Mark Lemon and his Australian team will be determined to get some revenge and ensure their place in the Monster Energy SWC Final at Vojens on June 13.
“The Americans and Latvians will also have a big say in the outcome of this meeting. I’d expect Greg Hancock to be inspired, as he always is when he wears the Stars and Stripes. The Latvians have a talented side too and they will thrive on a superb King’s Lynn race track.
“The Monster Energy SWC is always a special week on the speedway calendar and this is an event not to be missed.”
King’s Lynn owner and co-promoter Keith ‘Buster’ Chapman said: “The Monster Energy SWC is always a real highlight on our racing calendar at the Adrian Flux Arena.
“We look forward to welcoming fans from across the UK and around the world to King’s Lynn. As ever, I’m sure they will create a fantastic atmosphere that can only inspire the riders to produce their very best.”
