For six weeks a year, the world of elite professional surfing descends on the North Shore of Oahu for the VANS Triple Crown of Surfing. Hundreds of surfers from around the world compete in the year’s final two events to secure one of only 10 spots on the World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour. This is a look at four of those stories. In this installment, we follow Cam Richards, Jack Robinson, Benji Brand and Barron Mamiya as they attempt to jump to the next level, capturing the trials and tribulations of this pressure-filled period in their lives and without question the most grueling six weeks for any young surfer.
