Today, Formula E, the all-electric racing series that races on the streets of the world’s most exciting cities, released an insane new video to raise awareness of the threat of climate change to wildlife.
Watch the epic video below where TECHEETAH driver Jean-Eric Vergne (France) gears up for the new Formula E season by racing a cheetah in Western Cape, South Africa. The all-electric car and world’s fastest land animal can both reach 0-60mph in 3 seconds!
To celebrate their partnership of the UN Environment Assembly, the leading global environmental authority (which takes place in Nairobi next week), Formula E pitted theMontreal E-Prix race winner against the cheetah, a fragile species threatened by climate change.
With a mission to advance electric vehicle technology and shape the cars of the future, Formula E is at the heart of revolutionizing the world of clean mobility on the track, on city streets and for mass-market consumers. Formula E’s new season kicks off in Hong Kong on December 2 and 3 with their US races taking place in Brooklyn, New York on July 14 and 15, 2018.
