Red Bull Music Odyssey creates unique British musical journey in London.
Red Bull Music Odyssey created a unique journey through British music on Saturday June 30 when 50 iconic artists performed on six boats along the River Thames. Here is all you need to know:
– A flotilla of six boats set sail through London with an enthusiastic audience of over 2,000 and Red Bull Radio listeners enjoying sets from 50 top musical artists.
– Exploring the likes of house, techno, jazz and rap, the Odyssey took in London’s most iconic landmarks including a spectacular Tower Bridge opening display.
– There were standout appearances from legends such as Goldie, Chicago house pioneer Larry Heard and R&B legend Jocelyn Brown as well as sets from progressive 2018 musicians like AJ Tracey, Denis Sulta and HAAi.
– After docking at North Greenwich, the journey continued with the Red Bull Music Odyssey Afterparty which saw each scene come together, under one roof, for a series of unique collaborations including Goldie b2b Henry Wu and Randall b2b Heartless Crew.
