Revisit Tyler Fernengel’s BMX stunts at the now demolished Detroit stadium.

The Pontiac Silverdome was finally demolished on Monday at the second attempt after the first try failed to bring down the upper ring of the iconic Detroit stadium.

The former home of the Detroit Lions once held the honour of being the largest NFL stadium, while also hosting Super Bowl XVI and the NBA’s Detroit Pistons.

For BMX fans, it holds a special place in their hearts because of Tyler Fernengel‘s fun 2015 project where he used the abandoned stadium as his own playground.

The 21-year-old has wowed the freestyle world after swapping his motocross bike for pedal power and this is one set of stunts that will live long in the memory.
