Merritt Island, FL (February 5, 2018) – Engine Ice Hi-Performance Products, the premier choice for powersports coolant and antifreeze, is pleased to announce their support of the TT Scrambles Series for 2018. The 5 round series opens on February 11 and ends in December with additional races in March, June, and August. All rounds will take place at the famed Glen Helen Raceway TT Scrambles Pavillion.
The TT Series is an exciting new “old school” points-paying race series that takes place on rider friendly courses. The course is designed by four-time national champion Gary Jones and the event features multiple classes including modern and vintage motorcycles, quads, and sidecars. All these items combine to an excellent family friendly, fun event.
“I’m very excited to have Engine Ice onboard again as a sponsor this year,” said Old School Scrambles Racing Group CEO Tami Greenhill. “Their trusted products will add to the success of our series while helping us build our ridership.”
“Scrambles racing is where motocross began, and the new “old” Scrambles TT Series is a step back into what motocross was at the beginning, a bunch of friends trying to beat each other on whatever they had to ride,” said Engine Ice President and Founder Dave Kimmey. “While many of the early machines didn’t need our coolant as the sport evolved, Engine Ice became necessary, and we’re glad to help support such a fresh, fun series that is inclusive for both modern and vintage machines.
Engine Ice Hi-Performance Coolant is biodegradable, phosphate free, non-toxic, and typically reduces operating race temperatures, effectively keeping boil-over temperatures to 256°F or less and freeze-up protection to -26° F. Factory or privateer, highly modified or stock, all machines benefit from using Engine Ice.
