|Danish manufacturing company Moldow A/S has become an FIM Speedway Grand Prix series partner after agreeing a two-year deal with rights holders BSI Speedway.
Moldow has more than 50 years of experience in the design and production of energy-efficient dust extraction systems and painting lines.
Their dust extraction systems are used especially within the woodworking industry to extract and filter dust-filled air from furniture and wooden flooring production areas for example. Their painting lines are complete systems used by manufacturers in the plastic, metal and wood industries for the painting of everything from small toys to large parts for cars and wind turbines.
The Holsted-based company is already heavily involved in speedway as a long-time sponsor of triple world champion Nicki Pedersen. They also back his SGP rival Emil Sayfutdinov, Rasmus Jensen and Jonas Jeppesen, and serve as title sponsors of Holsted’s Moldow Speedway Arena. Their sister company, BarkerBille A/S, which sells industrial fans to OEM customers within various industries, also sponsors Nicolai Klindt and Martin Steen Hansen.
BSI Speedway managing director Torben Olsen is delighted to have Moldow back involved in the SGP series.
He said: “It’s great to welcome Moldow back. They have previously served as a title sponsor of SGP events, and we look forward to working with them throughout the next two years.
“Moldow have been fantastic supporters of our sport and the riders. And in return, we hope the sport’s worldwide appeal will play its part in taking their already global brand into even more markets.”
Moldow’s managing director K. Preben Hansen is also pleased to be back as sponsor of the SGP series and said: “The SGPs are very well-branded events getting exposure and press all over the world, so when the opportunity to return as sponsor came up, our decision was easy.
“With the sponsorship of two world-class riders and now also the SGP series, we will be looking forward to both an exciting 2018 speedway season and getting our name out there to spectators and viewers all over the world.
“Moldow’s involvement in speedway started with supporting the local club in Holsted and then grew to be of more international character.
“For us it’s a combination of making our company brand visible and recognised and supporting a sport that we truly enjoy watching. That’s also why we have continued to increase our involvement in the sport in the last couple of years, recently by including Emil Sayfutdinov and other local riders, after having sponsored Nicki for 13 years and Holsted Tigers for more than 30 years.”
