Injured skater takes Red Bull Bowl Rippers win in Prado bowl.

Spaniard Jaime Mateu hurt his ankle and eyebrow arch, but that didn’t stop him from winning the second edition of Red Bull Bowl Rippers this weekend in Marseille.

40 international skateboarders gathered in the French city to perform tricks and runs in the concrete bowl, with only six of them making it to the final.

A classic “crazy jam” session saw all six finalists riding at the same time, including Mateu. He impressed the crowd and secured his win with tricks such as “backside boneless bs revert” or “alley oop indy”.
