Alex Landeros won the first ever BMX dirt event at the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals in Salt Lake City. One of the final riders to drop into the dirt jumps, Landeros waited until his final run to unleash his most difficult tricks, claiming the lead and the overall title. Jason Lopez finished in second, while Daniel Sandoval rounded out the podium in third.

S&M , Shadow Conspiracy, and DC teamed up once again to bring the rail jam to Interbike. Garrett Reynolds, Dave Thompson, Josh Harrington, Brad Simms, Kevin Kiraly, and Ben Lewis made it to the finals.
