MIEDZINSKI MAKES WILD CARD RETURN IN TORUN

Former Torun winner Adrian Miedzinski returns to his hometown event after being named as wild card for the Revline Torun FIM Speedway Grand Prix of Poland on October 5.

Miedzinski dons the famous No.16 race jacket for the SGP 2019 season finale and will be determined to repeat the heroics that saw him top the podium as a wild card in the 2013 event.

Despite making the switch to Czestochowa in the PGE Ekstraliga, the 34-year-old knows the fastest way around the Marian Rose Motoarena and has previously represented Poland in the FIM Speedway World Cup.

This will be his sixth SGP appearance, with Miedzinski having previously raced three rounds in Torun and two in Bydgoszcz.

He is joined in Torun by track reserves Jakub Miskowiak and Karol Zupinski, who don the No.17 and No.18 race jackets respectively.

The referee for the Revline Torun SGP is Krister Gardell from Sweden.
