At Hypefest, Roborace partnered with Acronym to unveil a vision of self-driving technology through the lens of the technical apparel brand’s design aesthetics.
Acronym remixed the livery design of Robocar – the world’s first autonomous race car – and 360 video of a Roborace event in the year 2030, pitting you in a race against the brand’s founder Errolson Hugh for a spot on Team Acronym.
Guests at Hypefest were treated to a fully immersive VR experience thanks to motion control on Robocar VR by D-BOX.
Roborace is the world’s first competition for human + machine teams, using both self-driving and manually-controlled cars. Race formats will feature new forms of immersive entertainment to engage the next generation of racing fans. Through sport, innovations in machine-driven technologies will be accelerated.
